• All contestants are required to use the sound system provided by the Fair Board.  All other instruments and amplifiers must be provided by the contestant if needed.  Vocalist may use taped accompaniment, provided the tape contains musical accompaniment only.  State rules require that contestants will be disqualified if accompaniment has vocals of any kind.  For recorded accompaniment, a CD is recommended.  If a self-made CD is used, please bring a back-up cassette tape with you.  Because of deviations in CD recorders, not all CD’s are readable on all machines.
• TIME LIMIT PER ACT IS FOUR (4) MINUTES – this complies with State Fair rules.
